Polar Express Bell Favors & Printable Tags

Hello friends! I am thrilled to be here today.

I am Rebecca, you can find me at The Crafted Sparrow. When you visit my site you will see a variety of Craft / DIY projects, home decor, and the occasional recipe. Today I am sharing a sweet way to spread Christmas cheer with these Polar Express Bell Favors & Printable Tags.

    Polar Express Bell Favor Tag

Every year I make my sons class a Christmas gift for him to pass out. Last year we made Snowman Playdoh and it was a huge hit, but he is in 4th grade now and the request for a more mature gift was heard. I decided to make a small printable tag that featured a well known phrase from the popular Christmas movie Polar Express, and paired it with a fun magical bell.

    Supplies:

    – Medium or Large sized Silver Bells ( I found mine at the 99 cent only store )

    – Ribbon or Bakers Twine

    – Matte Photo Paper or White Card Stock

    – Printer

    – Scissors or Paper Cutter

    – Hole Punch

    – Polar Express Tags, which can be found HERE

I created the tag to resemble a train ticket. Start by downloading the free printable, and print on to either matte photo paper (for best results) or white card stock.

Then using scissors a paper cutter cut out your tags. Once cut, hole punch the top where the ribbon will go. I also used the hole punch to give each corner a quick punch following the curve of the ticket shape. Then just tie a tag to your magical bell with some festive ribbon or twine.

These favors are perfect for class gifts, or for the elves to leave on Christmas Eve. Another fun idea is to have a themed movie night. Everyone can get in to their favorite pj’s, drink hot cocoa and eat their favorite Christmas treats while watching the Polar Express. Then each child at the end of the movie could be given a bell.

loved this idea and passed it onto my daughter. She is a first year teacher Grade 1and her class is going to watch Polar Express and then she is giving them each one of the bells with the tag attached with a Christmas red & white stripped ribbon. So thanks for sharing
