I’m sharing a darling Unicorn Planner (it’s free and it’s really cute). Although, the Unicorn Planner was made for younger girls (planners aren’t just for grown-ups) I certainly would use these. A basic planner like this one is a great way to begin teaching time management skills.
The main thing about teaching kids how to use a planner – just keep it simple and try to make it fun for them. These are very simple to use and older kids would figure it out on their own.
Unicorn Planner – My day at a glance
Must do is your most important tasks that need to be accomplished. Meals (BLDS) stands for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Snack. This could be a food journal or a goal of what to eat.
Color in the water droplet for every glass of water drank. Notes can be items not to forget, things to remember in the near future, etc.
Unicorn Planner – Week at a glance
Unicorn Planner – Month at a glance
The weekly and monthly planners are pretty self-explanatory.
All planner pages are 8.5″ x 11″.
Included with this set is a front and back page for the Unicorn Planner. This would be inexpensive to print out on your home printer and place in a 3 ring binder.
