Fun Christmas Dessert Idea!
Yield: 32 cookies

Total time: 45 min
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup unsalted butter, room temp
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
32 Hershey Kisses, unwrapped
Additional powdered sugar for rolling
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°.
2. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
3. In a stand mixer add the butter, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, and vanilla.
4. Mix on medium speed, until fluffy.
5. Carefully add flour mixture 1 cup at a time, until all flour is in the mixture.
6. Mix until the dough comes together.
7. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
8. Using a small ice cream scoop, scoop balls of dough, set to the side.
9. Take 1 dough ball at a time flatten it out with your hands and place a
Herhsey kiss inside.
10. Roll the dough back into a ball.
11. Place on the baking sheet.
12. Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes.
13. The bottoms should be slightly brown.
14. Remove from the oven and cool for just 5-10 minutes.
15. In a small bowl add your powdered sugar, then roll each cookie in the
sugar until coated.
16. Set to the side. Eat and enjoy
Cookies can be made with gluten-free flour. Chopped nuts can also be added to the dough if wanted.
