These pumpkin spice rice krispie squares are filled with pumpkin spice and everything nice- that’s for sure! So if you are looking for a perfect dessert to enjoy this Fall (or anytime of the year actually), this one is an absolute winner!
I know that pumpkin spice is really popular these days, pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin spice hot cocoa, pumpkin spice cookies, pumpkin spice candles, I could go on and on! But one thing I hadn’t ever heard of until now are pumpkin spice rice krispie squares! But I promise you that these will not dissapoint! The kids and kids at heart in the home will definitely enjoy these!
This dessert recipe is super quick and easy, with just a few and simple ingredients! And of course it’s yummy! The final step – the decorating part is super fun; the kids will definitely be thrilled to help out!

Pumpkin Spice Rice Krispie Squares
Ingredients
- 1/4 C butter
- 1/3 C pumpkin puree
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 10 oz mini marshmallows, divided
- 6 C rice crisp cereal
Decorating
- 1 C white chocolate melting wafers
- assorted sprinkles
Instructions

In a large pot, melt the butter. Then stir in the pumpkin, maple syrup, spices, and vanilla.

Reserve 1 cup of the mini marshmallows and add the rest to the pot. Heat on medium heat, while stirring, until melted and smooth.

Add the rice crisp cereal and stir to combine, then stir in remaining marshmallows.

Coat a 9x13 pan with butter or cooking spray, then press the cereal mixture into the pan and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to set.

Turn out to a cutting board and cut into squares

In a microwave or double boiler, melt the white chocolate until smooth. Dip each square in the chocolate and then decorate as you desire.

Alternatively, you could drizzle the chocolate instead of dipping.
