With the construction of our new home, we decided to install two Trone Nobelet Smart Bidet Toilets in our guest bath and our master bathroom. These are the first smart toilet seats we have used and we couldn’t be happier with our decision to install them. Read on to find out what are the benefits of a smart toilet.
The benefits of smart toilet technology versus traditional toilets include automatic opening and closing of the toilet lid, automatic flushing, water conservation, heated seat, motion sensors, night light, drying functions, reduced need for the amount of toilet paper, and built-in bidets.
When choosing items for our new home build these toilets are a favorite! We also love our kitchen faucet, modular walk-in closet, and pull-out cabinet in the laundry room
Smart Bidet Toilet
We decided on the Trone Nobelet because of its features and high-quality construction. There are many brands and models of smart toilets. Our Trone Nobelets have been installed for over a year and have functioned flawlessly. We couldn’t be happier. Once you’ve experienced modern smart toilets, there’s no going back to a standard toilet.
What are the Benefits of a Smart Toilet
Listed below in more detail are some of the advanced technology featured in a smart toilet system and the amazing benefits.
Automatic Opening and Closing
As you approach the toilet, the lid automatically opens. The feature helps prevent the spread of germs. This eliminates the need to touch a toilet lid that probably has its share of icky stuff.
Need the seat up? No need for a balancing act or a hands-on approach. Just give the side of the bowl a gentle tap with your foot, and voila! The seat and lid rise like they’ve been waiting for your command. It’s especially handy for the guys!
Automatic Flushing
When done, the toilet will automatically flush and the seat and lid will close. No need to touch anything. Your personal hygiene is greatly enhanced due to this hands-free operation.
Heated Seat
One of the features that soon became our favorite, is the heated toilet seat. The seat can be set to individual preferences for seat temperature. We live in area that has cold winters and it is very nice to sit on a seat that is heated to say, “95” degrees. There is no butt shock planting yourself on a cold seat in the middle of the night. This feature will spoil you as you use conventional toilets away from your home and experience the shock of a cold seat.
Night Light
These high-tech toilets come with a blue night light that illuminates the toilet area sufficiently that you do not need to turn on a bathroom light. This is important as you’re less likely to disturb a partner that is sleeping nearby. Definitely, a great feature.
The Car Wash (Built-In-Bidet)
Imagine your toilet being like a luxury car wash but for your rear end! These smart toilets come equipped with a built-in bidet that’s as customizable as your favorite playlist. The water pressure is just right—no power wash feels here! You can even set the temperature to be personalized to your preferred comfort, because who doesn’t appreciate a spa-like experience in the bathroom?
And let’s talk about the drying feature—it’s just like the carwash – you go in for a wash and finish up with a blow-dry! It’s like having your own personal dryer, set to the perfect cozy warmth. These toilets are mess-busters, leaving you wondering why you ever struggled with a roll of toilet paper. My husband’s even a fan now, and that’s saying something!
Overall Health and Hygiene Considerations
Smart technology toilets have a host of health benefits. Your bathroom experience can be hands-free eliminating any transmission of germs and other undesirable contaminants to other surfaces or people. This provides peace of mind for personal hygiene!
Remote Control
The remote control is your tool to set water and seat temperatures and to activate the bidet functions; water cleansing and drying. You can also raise and close the toilet lid and seat with the remote. The remote can be programmed for two users so that you can set your individual preferences. The remote came with easy instructions and an adhesive mounting bracket.
Smart Toilet Installation
In addition to the water line for the toilet, you’ll need power. An important tip: Be sure that your water line and power are placed outside the width of the toilet bowl. Installation will be smoother plus you’ll have easy access to both the water and power in the event there is an issue. Moreover, if the electrical outlet is positioned beyond the toilet’s width, it allows for the toilet to have a snug placement against the wall.
Bathroom Signs
I designed these humorous bathroom signs a few years back for my previous bathroom. They’re sure to bring a smile to your face! They’re available to purchase for $4 for all four (click the link above)! You can easily print them out using your own printer. Enhance your bathroom decor affordably with these prints, perfectly complemented by basic black frames.
Final Thoughts
When considering a new toilet, the Trone Smart Toilet is more expensive than a regular toilet, but it is a worthwhile investment. I love this toilet! I can’t image life now without a smart toilet. It’s also a huge benefit to the elderly who might need extra help while using the loo! It helps get you clean where you especially need it.
The convenience and health benefits alone are worth the initial investment. But, all the extra various functions make it a great option to consider. We are extremely satisfied with our Nobelet smart toilet made by Trone and how it has improved our quality of life in the bathroom.
