Hi guys! Jenn here from Clean and Scentsible. I’m so happy to be back for another year of summer camp! Summer is my most favorite time of the year and I love having the extra time to hang out with my two boys. We always try to fit in at least a few family camping trips throughout the summer, so I thought that it would be fun to create a fun camping activity that we could bring along. No worries if you don’t camp though – this outdoor scavenger hunt {and s’mores treat!} can always be done on a nature walk too!
To keep things simple, I printed out the scavenger hunt directly onto a paper bag so the kids would have something to collect all of their goodies in. When you are printing it out, use some washi tape or other light adhesive to stick the paper bag in the center of a regular sheet of paper. Make sure that you have the front of the bag facing upwards {you don’t want to print on the part that will be the bottom of the bag}. Depending on your printer, you will likely need to put the paper in the printer with the bag facing down, top end first.
If you don’t want to print out the checklist onto a paper bag, I have also created a full page printable. If you choose, you can just check things off the list when you see them rather than actually collecting everything to keep things even simpler!

Kids always like rewards, so once the hunt is done, they can sit down and relax with a s’mores treat!
Package up some s’mores bags with graham crackers, a couple of giant marshmallows and some mini chocolate bars. The Mr. Goodbars with the peanuts are my favorite!
If you aren’t really a camper or there happens to be a fire ban where you are camping, you can still enjoy some s’mores fun with a little mix of Teddy Grahams, chocolate chips, and mini-marshmallows. This also makes a good little snack for the kids if you are heading out for a walk on the trails.

Just download the topper that you would like, trim it down with a paper cutter and add it to the top of a standard plastic sandwich bag. I stapled mine on to secure and then added some twine to the top for more of a decorative look. Don’t forget to add names to the back so you don’t mix up the bags!
I hope you all have a wonderful summer and have some time to explore outside with your kiddos!

Hey! Thanks so much for these! I’d like to make some thank you tags to match so I’m wondering what fonts did you use?

Sorry, I don’t know the font. I didn’t make the tags. Enjoy!
