This classic shared boys room is perfect for the little explorers in your life! The vibrant blue walls are a wonderful backdrop for this room created by Beth from Home Stories A to Z. The beadboard walls with raingutter bookshelves are practical and fun. Giving each boy their own custom bookcase above their bed is a special touch that defines their own space within the room. The walls were painted with Sherwin Williams Rainstorm in flat sheen.
The Letter Bookshelves were handmade. Beth shares instructions in her A & Z Bookshelves Tutorial.
The roman shades were made use Premier Prints Chipper Slub Corn Yellow fabric.
I love the labeled drawer pulls. They look fabulous and they are so useful for young children. You could start with small pictures of what goes in the drawer and then move onto words.
Designing a shared room involves making sure each child has a space of their own plus making sure each child has enough storage. Beth did a wonderful job with many DIY projects accomplished in this room! You can find out more details about this room and her other projects at her blog, Home Stories A to Z.
