You will love this healing essential oils salve! It’s so easy to make and so amazing. It helps soothe and heal minor cuts, bruises, and burns. Using essential oils make it chemical-free which is very important!
This essential oils salve is also a great gift idea. Moms would especially like to have a jar of the salve. You know, all mothers are also doctors and nurses in the home. Every mother would love to have a nice, safe, and chemical-free first-aid cure.
- ½ cup coconut oil
- ½ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup beeswax or soy pellets
- 2-3 drops tea tree essential oil
- 2-3 drops lavender essential oil
- 2-3 drops frankincense essential oil
- 2-3 drops lemon essential oil
- 2-3 drops eucalyptus essential oil
- Add 2-3 drops of soap color if you like.
- 1-ounce metal or plastic container
Add the coconut oil to a medium glass bowl. Add olive oil to the bowl.
Add your beeswax or soy wax to bowl and heat in 30 second increments until the contents are melted. Whisk or stir ingredients together.
Add your essential oils to the bowl. Add 2-3 drops tea tree essential oil. Add soap color if you like.
Add 2-3 drops lavender essential oil.
Add 2-3 drops frankincense essential oil.
Add 2-3 drops lemon essential oil.
Add 2-3 drops eucalyptus essential oil.
Portion your salve into your container. It will solidify as it cools.
Store in a cool place so your salve won’t melt in higher temperatures. You can use the salve for minor cuts and scrapes, minor burns, dry patches of skin or for diaper rash.
