My sweet friend Donna from Party Wishes outdid herself with this absolutely charming Camping Party theme. Donna describes the party, “For Sheridan’s end-of-the-year party for 5th grade, I planned a camping theme party to help her class celebrate. I cut 6 branches off my own pepper tree and hung them from the ceiling and added a bandanna banner and votives hanging from mason jars. I had a make-your-own-trail-mix buffet, we played a hula hoop game and sack relay then came inside to lace some “leather” wallets. While watching “Yogi Bear” movie, the kids enjoyed S’more pops (marshmallows on a stick dipped in chocolate and then rolled in crushed graham crackers), movie theater popcorn and lemonade. Party favors included a red bandanna, water bottle holder, camping pin, bug catcher and a take-home s’mores kit.

Bandanas were used to create a banner bunting (ceiling), a knotted bandana banner (food table) and a creative bow for the gable box.
