Bloody Red Velvet Hot Chocolate

Serving yummy and fun drinks is a great tradition to do around the holidays. This bloody hot chocolate drink is perfect for your Halloween party or just a treat for a typical day leading up to Halloween! It’s quick to put together and it’s absolutely great fun!

Bloody Hot Chocolate

The kiddos and the kids at heart will definitely enjoy this beverage. 

You just need a few simple ingredients and a few minutes to make this spooky and delicious hot chocolate drink!

Use a syringe for added thrill!  Check out below for the full recipe! 

Bloody Hot Chocolate

 

INGREDIENTS FOR BLOODY HOT CHOCOLATE: 

5 cups whole milk

⅓ cup sugar

½ cup. Milk chocolate chips

¼  cup Dark chocolate chip

1 tsp vanilla

2 tsp Red Velvet syrup

2 drops red gel food coloring

Serves: 2 8oz glasses

Instructions:

Combine milk and sugar in a large pot.

Place over medium heat until milk begins to simmer.

Simmer for 4 minutes.

Stir to combine, until sugar is dissolved.

Add the chocolate chips and red food coloring.

Stir until combined and chocolate is melted.

Remove from heat.

Add the vanilla and red velvet syrup.

Stir to combine.

Add whipped cream and Halloween sprinkles.
 
Serve hot.
