Throwing a party for twins (or other multiples) is a special challenge. I’ve watched my friends with multiples face down the birthday party challenge many times over the years. How do you make both children feel special while maintaining your sanity? A twins birthday party should not mean double the work. While the kids are in elementary school it is completely acceptable to host a combined birthday bash. Matter-of-fact, most twins prefer to have a shared party at these ages. At this age, most twins have the same friends and same interests. You may, however, need to have 2 unique cakes. Here are some party themes that work really well with multiples:

Dr. Seuss Thing 1 and Thing 2 Party

“The Little Prince” is a book about a prince that leaves his planet to explore the universe and finds out that the rose he left behind was the most important thing in his life. “The Little Prince” party symbolizes the caring relationship between twins with a girly “rose” side and a boyish “prince” one. – See more at Spaceships and Laserbeams
