Looking for pirate party ideas for your young swashbuckler? Here are some fabulous ideas for a pirate themed event. Michelle from Vintage Junky created this pirate pennant, x marks the spot (on the mailbox) and the “bedsheet” sails.
Sheets purchased from goodwill make perfect “sails” on top of the pergola.
One fabulous mom made these favor bags. Polaroid photos were taken of each guest and then attached to their goodie bag.
Another idea from One Fabulous Mom a pirate “watermelon” ship. A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!
Kira from Tangarang created this too-fun treasure map. The coolest thing about this map – is she offers a printable blank map and also a printable sheet with items you might have in your yard so you can customize your own pirate treasure map.

I love the pirate party themed ideas. I hosted one of these for my son's fifth birthday and it was so much fun – but the pirate ship pinata would have trumped all!

I am having my son's 4th birthday party at the end of September, and have been trying to figure out how to turn the park pavilion into a pirate ship. I LOVE the idea of the sheets for sails. I am going to have to share this with my husband to see what he can do for me.. err I mean our son lol!
