12+ DIY Teacher Appreciation Gift Ideas

DIY Teacher Appreciation gift ideas

If you’ve ever considered purchasing a scented candle for your child’s teacher…please read this post first.

Don’t get me wrong – scented candles are awesome for everybody, and they are a perfect gift for someone you don’t know too well (for example – your child’s teacher!). However, if you’ve ever asked a teacher how many scented candles they have…the number is usually in the thousands.

(Okaaaaay, maybe not thousands, but you get my point. One time, my aunt – who teaches elementary school – showed me her closet dedicated to scented candles. The smell is burned in my brain forever. It was like cookies meets evergreen forest meets cherry chapstick.)

Thankfully, cute and fun DIY teacher appreciation gift ideas have been on the uptrend for the past few years, so we decided to feature some of our favorites from around the ol’ inter-web.

We’ve tried to find a mix of useful, practical, creative, and cute ideas to share…so hopefully that means you never have to take a trip down the scented candle isle ever again!
