I am so excited to finally share the final installment of my kitchen remodel with you: The reveal!
It’s been so fun to share each step of the process with you, and I absolutely love the way that everything has come together and turned out. I love, love, LOVE my kitchen now. It’s perfectly suited to my needs and style. Cooking, entertaining, and just hanging out are infinitely more enjoyable! And what really important factor – it makes me want to cook in there!
As a reminder, here’s a little bit of what my kitchen looked like before:
And here’s what it looks like now!
It’s been such an amazing transformation process! All the time and effort has been completely worth it, but I have to say, I’m so glad it’s finally done!
We had a cabinet maker take care of all the custom work, and it turned out beautifully!
After the cabinets came the paint. I decided on two Benjamin Moore colors. Edgecomb Gray for the walls, and White Dove for the cabinets and crown molding. The colors complement each other so well!
For the countertops, I decided that Viatera quartz would be the best option. I paired it with a beautiful, classic white subway tile. I love my countertops!
Farmhouse sinks are my favorite and there’s no way I was going to choose anything else! It looks beautiful with the countertops since the clean lines don’t distract from anything!
I love that I’m able to hide away all the counter clutter and use the kitchen as another place to decorate and style. If there’s going to be anything on my counter that people are going to see, I want it to be pretty!
It’s been such a pleasure to show you all the steps and the process of my remodel! I hope that it’s inspired you to take on the challenge of renovating a room, and maybe given you some tips and ideas, too!

I cannot believe you pulled this off in only five weeks. It is beautiful and perfect!!
Toni - Design Dazzle says
Thank you, Lauren! It actually took me about 6-7 weeks of construction – with a few weeks of planning and getting bids. I’ve done a few kitchens. This is my favorite.

This is such a dreamy makeover! I love what paint can do to a space, and in here, it’s made this entire room inviting, and eye-catching. Enjoy it all! ๐

Your kitchen looks incredible, and so clean and fresh! You did so much within 6 weeks, I’m impressed!
Toni - Design Dazzle says
Andi,
I did have a few weeks to plan the kitchen and hire help before construction. But the day to day operations of getting it done took about 6 weeks. I’m a scheduler and got everyone on board with dates.

Nathalia says
Hello!!! Iโm so in love with your kitchen, I could not find where did you get the kitchen cabinets from… I would love to know! Thank you! And congrats amazing work!!!
Toni - Design Dazzle says
Thanks, Nathalia. Majority of my kitchen are original cabinets. The few custom cabinets I had made came from a cabinet builder and were built custom to fit my space. If you are looking into a kitchen remodel, ask friends about any recommendations for a cabinet maker. They seem to be reasonablly priced compared to the kitchen cabinet stores. Good luck!

Hi
I absolutely love it!! I am getting ready to paint my kitchen cabinets with benjamin Moore Advanced paint in either white dove or simply white. I have read on some other sites that the paint yellows over time….have you had any issue with yellowing? Thanks
Toni - Design Dazzle says
No, I have not had any white paint yellow overtime. These cabinets were painted 4 years ago. I like both of these colors. Good luck

Beautiful kitchen reveal! I am in the process of building a new home and I have also chosen BM White Dove also for my kitchen cabinets and trim throughout the house. My granite counters will be Sedona. I am having trouble deciding on the kitchen backsplash. I love the look of your classic white subway tile. I wasn’t sure when I compare my paint sample board of the White Dove with white tiles, it doesn’t seem to match very well. From the photos, your cabinets and backsplash look amazing together. I was beginning to think I would need to find the tile and have the paint matched…Do you have any suggestions or tips for me in choosing a backsplash to go with White Dove? Can you tell me the brand of tile you chose so I can compare in person with my sample board? Thanks so very much for any info you can pass on. May your 2020 be blessed!
Thanks so much!
Tami

Hi Tami!
I just saw your comment. I purchased the subway tiles from Home Depot. No need to match the paint and the tiles. It works great together. A typical white subway tile is a classic color and works with pretty much any color. Sounds all beautiful. I would love to see pics when you are done!
