Santa’s Mailbox

Santa’s Mailbox. I am nearing the end of an era in my house. For 16 Christmas seasons, I have dutifully helped my boys write and mail letters to Santa. Each year they want to go to the mall to drop off their lists in person…this year, I got smart. (It took me long enough) I made a magical mailbox just for letters to Santa.

DIY Santa's Mailbox for your kiddos to make!

To make one for your own little ones, you will need:

Cricut Machine

Card Stock

Vinyl or Adhesive Foil

Cricut Printable Sticker Paper

Gold Cricut Pen

Glue

Glitter Cardstock

Mounting Tape

Open up Cricut Design Space and send the mailbox project to cut. You will need 8 sheets of 12″x12″ cardstock for the mailbox. Assemble the mailbox using the instructions (found here)  This will take a little bit to assemble, but I think it’s worth it. Once you have it assembled, you can leave it as is, or you can add a label to the front. I used Cricut Gold Adhesive Foil on the bottom, and Cricut Printable Sticker Paper on top. The gold Cricut pen wrote all the text on the sticker paper, I filled in the empty space and the little reindeer myself. For a little dimension, I added a tiny red glitter reindeer with mounting tape over the gold one.

I printed out several letters to Santa for my youngest and some friends to fill out and put in Santa’s Mailbox. I love having the mailbox at the house, I empty it after my boys go to bed and I know what they are asking Santa for…they love seeing the mail is gone in the morning.
