Christmas is a time for spreading cheer and giving gifts. It is the most wonderful time of the year, but it’s also the busiest time of the year. With all the hustle and bustle, I love giving simple gifts that are cute and require very little work! These Reindeer Tags {Free Printable} can instantly dress up a very simple gift. These would make a great little present for a teacher, neighbor, or your children’s friends. Once again, Rudolph will save Christmas!
But what I especially like the tags for is creating fun foods/drinks for my kids. Adding the tags to a cello bag filled with donut holes makes for a sweet surprise. What about placing the milk at the breakfast table for kids to find. You can even make reindeer shaped pancakes for a cute breakfast idea.
The milk bottle can be made with the bigger label (the one with just the round face) as a cute Rudolph chocolate milk. Simply tape or glue the label on around the existing chocolate milk label. Wrap a few red pipe cleaners around the neck of the milk bottle to make the base of the antlers. Cut a few pipe cleaners into smaller sections and wrap them around the base to finish the antlers. I added a small, simple bow in the middle of the antlers. That’s it! It’s that simple to make darling reindeer milk.
How to make REINDEER NOSES:
- round donut holes
- Candy Melts (red for rudolph)
- cello bags or mason jars
Step 1: Melt red candy melts in the microwave in a small container like a teacup. Put the cup of candy melts into the microwave for 45 seconds on 50% power. Take it out, and stir. Put it back in for another 45 seconds or so, and take it out to stir again. Repeat this step again, and it should be melted enough by then.
Step 2: Stick a donut hole with a fork or skewer and dip it into the candy melts. Once it is completely covered, put it in a cup to dry without smudging the candy melts. If you choose, you can dip the other side again in the melted candies to cover the “fork holes”.
This is what “Rudolph’s nose” will look like once the candy melts dry. Such a cute, simple treat!
Step 3: Gather a few plain donut holes to be the reindeer noses and one Rudolph nose. Put them in a jar, or place them in a bowl for a sweet snack and attach the free “Reindeer Noses” printable. That’s all!
You can’t go wrong with a quick, easy, and cute gifts like these! These reindeers are sure to spread the Christmas cheer!
