Quick and easy puppy Valentine card holder with free pattern! Does your child need to take a card holder to school to collect all their special Valentines? This cute little puppy card holder works for a boy or girl. Just leave off the bow if making for a boy. This can be made with felt or craft foam and it is really easy. I made mine with craft foam sheets. Not only is this craft project easy it is fun to make with your kids.

- 1 light brown colored sheet of craft foam or felt (puppy face and ears)
- 1 dark brown colored sheet of craft foam or felt (muzzle and spot)
- 1 black colored sheet of craft foam or felt (nose and eyes)
- 1 aqua colored sheet of craft foam or felt (bone tie)
- paper: a piece of white and red
- glue gun and glue sticks
- black sharpie
- optional: ribbon
Scroll down to see how to get the free pattern for the puppy. Print out the pattern (two pages) and cut out the face parts. Place the pattern on top of the foam or felt. Trace around each part with a pencil or pen and cut out.
Assemble the foam pieces (as shown) and use the glue gun to attach to each other. If you choose, you can use make-up blush or red craft paint for the cheeks. Color in the pupils with a sharpie. The ribbon bow adds a cute touch. Use the glue gun to attach between the ears.
