What is Pineapple Dole Whip? It is a sweet pineapple sorbet with the consistency of soft serve ice cream. If you haven’t had it, it’s YUMMY!! And the best part? It’s super easy to make at home!
The delicious treat is served at places like the Dole Plantation in Hawaii and Disneyland. Did you know it’s Disneyland’s most popular park treat?
The great news is how easy it is to make at home. You will need a blender/food processor and only three ingredients.
Yes, there are only THREE INGREDIENTS. If you’ve got 3 minutes to make it, you’ve got yourself a frozen treat!
Pineapple Dole Whip Recipe 1-2 servings:
- 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream
- ½ cup pineapple juice
- 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
Place ingredients in blender. Start low and slowly increase the speed to blend all the ingredients. Garnish with a pineapple. There you go – that’s how easy it is!
The original soft serve at Dole Planation is dairy-free. For those who have food allergies, experiment with coconut milk and frozen pineapple in a blender. See how that tastes! If you want it more of a pineapple taste, add pineapple juice.
Recreating the famous Dole Whip “swirl” would be difficult unless you have some kind of “icing” type bag. Forget that step. Make it easy on yourself and pour into glasses and eat right away.
