    Minnie Mouse Valentine’s Cookie Pops

    Enjoy an easy Disney dessert recipe made with OREO cookies. Perfect treats to make for your Valentine or any time of the year! Great for kids and adults alike who love all things Disney! Did I mention that these are ridiculously tasty? Who would have thought that Oreos could be made even better? Well, it turns out that you can indeed take them to a whole new level of deliciousness. These Minnie Mouse Valentine’s Cookie Pops also go great with a Mickey & Minnie Valentines Day Party!

    Makes: 6 Oreo cookie pops

    Active time: 30 minutes

    Additional time: 1 hour

    Mickey Valentines Pops

    Supplies:

    • Microwave safe bowls
    • Mixing spoons
    • Lollipop sticks
    • Parchment paper
    • Baking sheet
    Mickey Valentines Pops

    Ingredients:

    • 6 regular sized Oreo cookies
    • 3 mini oreo cookies
    • 4 oz red chocolate candy melts
    • 2 tablespoon candy hearts
    • 4 oz white chocolate candy melts.
    • 2 tablespoon Valentine sprinkles
    • 4 oz pink chocolate candy melts

    Directions:

    Carefully twist the Oreos to separate the two halves.

    Press the two halves of the mini Oreos into the filling of the larger Oreo to create Minnie Mouse ears.

    Use a microwave safe bowl to melt the white chocolate. Stirring and heating at 15 second intervals.

    Drop a teaspoon of white chocolate into the center of the open Oreo cookie, place a lollipop stick into the middle and replace the top of the cookie.

    Allow the chocolate to harden for approximately 10 minutes.

    Melt the red and pink chocolate separately, until they are smooth and silky in texture.

    Using a spoon. Generously coat the Oreo cookie pop with the melted chocolate.

    While the chocolate is still wet. Hold the Oreo pop over a bowl of sprinkles and gently pour the sprinkles over the top until the pop is completely coated.  Add candy hearts to create a bow.

    After placing the Oreo pops on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper; place in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow them to harden before serving.

    Ingredients
      

    • 6 regular Oreo Cookies
    • 3 mini Oreo Cookies
    • 4 oz Red Chocolate Candy Melts
    • 4 oz Pink Chocolate Candy Melts
    • 4 oz White Chocolate Candy Melts
    • 2 tablespoon Candy Hearts
    • 2 tablespoon Valentine Sprinkles

    Instructions
     

    • Carefully twist the Oreos to separate the two halves.
    • Press the two halves of the mini oreos into the filling of the larger oreo to create mickey ears.
    • In a microwave safe bowl, melt the white chocolate, stirring and heating in 15 second intervals until smooth.
    • Drop a teaspoon of white chocolate into the center of the open Oreo cookie, place a lollipop stick into the middle and replace the top of the cookie.
    • Allow the chocolate to harden (about 10 minutes) before moving onto the next step.
    • In separate microwave safe bowls, melt the red and pink chocolate until smooth.
    • Spoon the chocolate over the Oreo cookie pop until completely covered.
    • For sprinkles: before the chocolate dries, hold the Oreo pop over a bowl of sprinkles and gently pour sprinkles overtop until completely coated.  Add candy hearts to create a bow.
    • Place the Oreo pops on a parchment lined baking sheet and into the fridge to harden for at least 30 minutes before serving.
