Giving a gift card can sometimes feel impersonable. Today I am going to show you one way to dress up a gift card so you can add a personal touch. Hi there, my name is Blanca and I blog over at Creativities Galore where I share party inspiration and crafts. I am so excited to be back this year as part of Design Dazzle’s Christmas Wonderful. I hope you take some inspiration from the easy craft I am about to share. The supplies I used were:
- a fry box (I found mine at a craft store)
- scissors
- twine
- paper shreds
- a paper stocking die cut (I made mine with my electronic cutting machine but if you don’t have one I am sure you can find something similar at your craft store)
The first thing did was wrap the twine around my fry box. I finished that step by tying off the twine at the front of the box.
Next, I added the stocking to the front of the box. My paper stocking die cut had a little hole in the corner to thred the twine though. I did that and tied it off with a bow but I also added a little tape to the back so it would stay in place on the fry box. Then I filled the inside of the box with white paper shreds. I did this to add more details, plus to add some height for the gift card. The final step is to add the gift card in between the paper shreds. To add some personalization you can write the name of the gift recipient on the top of the stocking. And there you have it, an easy way to dress up a gift card. I hope this inspired you to dress up the gift cards you will be giving out this holiday season.
