It’s Friday and day 5 of our Halloween Bash blog hop, woohoo! Glad you could join us on this fabulous Friday for more Halloween ideas from me and my talented blogging friends!
This spook-tacular Halloween trick-or-treat bucket is the perfect gift for your family, neighbors, and friends! It’s easy to make and you can fill it with any sweet treats, spooky toys, or terror-ific tricks!
Supplies for Happy Halloween Treat Bucket:
- large peat pot
- black paint
- orange streamer
- black tissue fringe
- halloween ribbon
- Happy Halloween Printable!
- hot glue
- foam paintbrush
Step 1: Paint your peat pot. I painted mine black so that it would contrast well with the orange tissue paper ruffle, the Happy Halloween printable, and Halloween ribbons, but you can get creative and mix different ideas! I found that when painting the peat pot, a foam paintbrush works best because they peat pots are so absorbent.
Step 2: Gather and pleat small sections of the streamer as you go along, hot gluing it about ½-1 inch into the inside of the peat pot. Below is a picture what the streamer will look like from the inside:
Step 3: Hot glue the black tissue fringe on to the outside edge of the peat pot. Then, tie 2 cute orange, black and white bows and hot glue them to both sides of the peat pot.
Step 4: Hot glue the Happy Halloween printable on the front. Fill it with candy, treats, or toys and you’re done!
I love a quick and simple project. This Halloween treat is perfect to spread the haunted Halloween cheer!
