Giant Valentine Kiss Filled With Chocolate Kisses

Valentine’s Day is such a fun opportunity to show your family and friends that you love them. Sometimes it is fun to have a few different ideas than the typical Valentine card or box of chocolates we usually see around this time of year. Why not make a giant valentine kiss filled with chocolate kisses? This unique gift is extremely cute and surprisingly sweet! Your friend, neighbor, teacher, family member or special someone will love getting a sweet, giant kiss from you this Valentine’s Day!

Supplies for Giant Kiss

• Hershey’s Kisses (or whatever you would like to fill your kiss with!)
• aluminum foil
• Mylar Sheets (package said mylar gift tissue –  I found it in the tissue paper section at the store)
• Gift wrap is another option instead of mylar sheets
• funnel (various sizes, the funnel with determine the size of your kiss)
• poster paper
• scissors

Step 1: Prep work! Trace the mouth of the funnel onto the poster paper. Cut the circle out, make sure that it is small enough to fit just inside the lip of the funnel. Next, Rip off a square of aluminum foil. Make sure that the foil is big enough to cover the inside of the funnel and fold over to hold the kisses.

Step 2: Line the funnel with the aluminum foil. Make sure you completely cover the inside of the funnel, with the corners of the aluminum foil sticking out.

Step 2: Fill the funnel with Hershey’s kisses. Leave a small space at the top.

 Step 3: Place the poster paper circle on top of the Hershey’s kisses. Wrap the excess aluminum foil.

Step 4: Cut the mylar sheets (or whatever you are wrapping the kiss with) into a square that will cover the kiss. For my larger kiss, my square was 19″x19″, which was approximately the size of the mylar gift tissue from the store. Just cut  for the size of kiss you are making. Wrap the mylar sheets or wrapping paper around the kiss. Secure the wrapper with ribbon. I added some wire mylar ribbon and some mylar shred for embellishment on one and wrapping paper and ribbon on the other.

Step 5: Print out our free printable. See below to get the get the printable. Make sure to stick the printable in in the top off the kiss! Various colors and sayings are included in the printable. Two different size Valentine “slips” were created depending on your size of kiss.
