I hope you all had a safe, fabulous and fun Labor Day weekend. This weekend we had some downtime but it was also a weekend of “labor” : ). It was time to break out the fall decor to decorate my mantel and do a few other items around the house. For this year’s fall mantel, I decided to add a little more floral for a floral fall mantel than in years past. The fall pumpkin porch decor I did last year was beautiful with the unique colors of greens, plums, lavender, blues, and sage. I decided to bring in a bit of those colors for my mantel this year!
I’m participating in a Fall Mantel Blog Hop with a bunch of talented ladies! Check the bottom of this post to see some fabulous fall mantels.
I purchased two items for the mantel from Michaels Stores – the green metal bucket and the architectural decor piece on the end. Is there a better name for that decor piece? Everything else I already had. Please check out last years Neutral Fall Mantel! As you will see, just a couple of items were reused this year. Along with the same wood logs!
It didn’t take long to decorate. It’s a pretty simple look – but I really like it!!
What do you think?…

Do you decorate the same way each fall? I try to use mostly what I have and then add a piece or two.
Beautiful mantel, Toni! I love how you put color on the left side and neutrals on the right. That gorgeous clock tops it all off!
Thanks, Jennifer! I’m sure you enjoy decorating for the fall too!
Such a great mixtures of textures and earthy colour – I love the pop of floral and purple!!
