Hello! Valerie from Greyson Design here sharing an easy and cute hot cocoa mini gift idea. Finding ways to use party supplies in new ways is always fun! So I created this adorable favor for you all!
How cute would this be in a basket of homemade goodies or taped to the front of an Christmas gift? It’s so easy and personalized that your kids can be a part of making these. Get creative and add crushed peppermint, chocolate chips or other favorite candies.
Supplies: Plastic Candy Tube, pre-made or homemade hot cocoa mix, mini marshmallows, printable favor tags found here , scissors, coordinating holiday washi tape or adhesive.
First, Gather your supplies and print off the flag templates found HERE.
Next, Fill your plastic candy tube ยพ full with hot cocoa mix. Using an funnel is helpful. There may be some static from the candy tube so take a paper towel and insert into the inside of the tube wiping any excess that has clung to the sides.
Then, fill the remaining part of the tube with marshmallows and secure the top. Next cut out one of the tags and cut the end of tag how you desire.
Lastly, have your child sign there name on the end after the last heart.
Then, attach the tag to the top of the tube by adhering washi tape or adhesive to the backside.
Now you have an simple and adorable favor gift to include in an gift basket, tapped to the front of an present or a fun accent to an holiday mug.
Enjoy!
