    Canvas Art

Hi, it is Alicia and Katie over from Maytime Mom’s!! We are super excited to blog over with Design Dazzle. Both Katie and I are educators and once summer hits we both have to pinch our pennies. And that includes what we do with our children throughout the summer. Between Katie and I, we have 7 kids total. And even cooler, we are next door neighbors. So we and our kids spend a lot of time together. One favorite thing the kids like to do is paint. We grabbed our 50% off Michael’s coupon and purchased a big pack of canvas’. Katie pulled out her trusty Cricut and each child designed their own art to put on their canvas.

    Here us what you need:

    Canvas- any size

    Foam paint brushes/dobbers

    Acrylic paint

Cricut cut-outs or you can even create with washi tape

Have your child place or design their canvas how they please. Once they are ready to go…..let the painting begin!!!

Out of both our families there is only one girl. So we were pretty excited that she chose a unicorn. But my 3 boys of course chose baseball themes. Katies little boys chose a dinosaur and bow and arrow!
