Recently, I created a created a mini mudroom nook near the back entryway coming in from my garage door. I made the corner into a small sitting area with adorable decorations I purchased from Rod Works. Rod Works is a great store for purchasing all kinds of decor– ranging from kids’ bedrooms to kitchens, from living rooms to bathrooms! I love their products, and everything is reasonably priced. They carry different styles of decor- farmhouse, contemporary, shabby chic, etc and it’s all unique, stylish and affordable.

For my nook, I chose brightly colored decor to add pops of interest. My most favorite item of decor, though, is the shabby chic shelf! It has my style written all over it with the beautiful corbels. The shelf is shabby white, and flows well into the rest of the nook naturally. It was just the right size! And at only $109 I thought it was an excellent price.

Items from Rod Works:

  • Wood shabby chic shelf
  • Do What You Love sign
  • Always look on the bright side of life sign
  • Yellow chalkboard sign
  • Green watering can
  • Moss bird
  • Red magnet board
  • Metal hooks

The plant, pillow and rug I already owned.

I found a super cute chalkboard that I added my little “welcome home” message to.

I also found a beautiful sign that met my needs for bright, happy colors. Every time I walk through the garage entryway, I am always pleased to see my new nook. It has a bright, happy appeal to it– very welcoming and inviting. It makes me smile!!

I always love going into Rod Works. They frequently get new shipments in and have the cutest displays like this!

Rod Works first started in 1996 as an alternative to big chain home decor stores. They have expanded to 10 locations across Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and California. Rod Works started out selling iron decor and curtain rods but have grown to provide all types of unique home decor at affordable prices. Seasonal decor is fun to decorate with. And Rod Works certainly carries a great selection. But they also have an amazing selection of regular home decor items. It’s one of those stores that is a must to visit!

I really love walking by my nook and staring for a bit! Rod Works certainly has a great selection of items just like these shown here in my image. Go visit a Rod Works store. You won’t be disappointed!
