Ingredients:
24 regular Sized Oreo Cookies 48 mini Oreo Cookies
12 Popsicle sticks
5 cups light brown candy melts 1 Black decorating Icing
1 Red decorating Icing
1 White decorating Icing
1 Green decorating Icing
Directions:
Take the full-size Oreos and untwist to remove the two halves of the cookies.
Place one half of the Oreo cookie filled with the filling and one other half without the filling lined up together on a silicone-lined baking tray.
Melt your light brown melting chocolate in a microwave safe bowl as directed on the bag’s instructions. Stir until smooth.
Take a small dollop of light brown melting chocolate and place it on the open Oreo cookie with the filling.
Place your popsicle stick on top of the two halves of the Oreo.
Top the popsicle stick with another dollop of light brown melting chocolate.
Place the other half of the Oreo cookie on top of the Oreo half with the popsicle stick
Take 4 mini Oreos and separate the 2 halves and discard the filling.
Dip one of mini Oreo halves into the light brown melting chocolate only 1⁄3 of the way.
Insert the mini Oreo halves into the top Oreo on the sides.
These will be the arms of the Gingerbread Man.
Repeat this step for the legs.
Dip each Oreo pop into the chocolate make sure to coat it fully.
Lightly tap the oreo pop on the side of the bowl to remove excess.
Hold the Oreo pop over the bowl for a few seconds to allow the excess chocolate to drip o.
Place the chocolate-coated Oreo pop on the lined baking sheet
Repeat with all Oreo pops, and set to the side to dry fully for 45 minutes.
Decorating:
Decorate your Gingerbread Man with the red and green icing for the buttons and bow tie of the Gingerbread Man.
Use the white decorating icing to decorate the top of the head, arms, and legs.
Take the black decorating icing and add the eyes and mouth.
