Being a cat lady for Halloween is one of those costumes that takes all of about 15 minutes. So if you want easy peasy this is it!! Gather up a bunch of plush kitty cats and safety pin them to your child’s bathrobe. If you don’t need the bathrobe or the cats anymore, hot glue would also work to keep the cats in place on the robe. I purchased the robe and the cats at the thrift store. The robe was washed and the cats were sanitized by placing them in the dryer on hot for about 45 minutes. This helps get rid of any germs and dust mites. Or better yet use your childs own stuffed animals. Place a few rollers in the hair and voila you’ve got the cat lady!! This is Abbie isn’t she a cutie? It helps that she loves cats and cuddling them!

I finally found the pics of my couple’s costume party & I linked it up so you can see my Mary Poppins {& my hubby Burt’s} costume.
