Toni Roberts and Heidi Parson, are so excited to plan the ultimate girls’ trip to the Alpine Heartlands in September 2026! We’d love for you to join us for an adventure of traveling in Austria and Germany, seeing amazing buildings, and visiting iconic landmarks, and exploring beautiful landscapes. We will be gaining new friendships and making unforgettable memories. Don’t miss out on exploring Europe together. Our tour begins in the heart of Munich, where we’ll arrive on Saturday and depart for the countryside the next day.

Saturday,  September 12th

First Day Arrival

We arrive to Munich on Sat, September 12th. After everyone has arrived,  we will visit Marienplatz, which is the vibrant heart of Munich, surrounded by stunning architecture, bustling cafés, and the famous Glockenspiel. Once the city’s main market square, it remains the perfect place to soak in Munich’s charm.

 Bike Tour – Our group will pedal through Munich’s lush English Garden, one of Europe’s largest city parks. Hopefully, we will get to see the surfers ride the Eisbach River’s famous wave before relaxing together at a traditional beer garden for pretzels!

Sunday, September 13th

Our group will travel by private coach to the Bavarian countryside, where storybook scenery can be seen everywhere. The highlight of the day will be visiting Neuschwanstein Castle — the fairytale masterpiece that inspired Disney’s castle. With a short visit to the Church of Ramsau in Bavaria, Germany.

 

Monday, September 14, 2026

Berchtesgaden -We will explore the fascinating salt mines, learning about centuries-old mining traditions beneath the Alps. We’ll also take in the breathtaking beauty of Lake Königssee by boat and visit the historic Eagles Nest, perched high above the mountains with panoramic views of the Bavarian landscape.

Tuesday, September 15th

Salzburg– During our stay in Salzburg, we will enjoy a hands-on strudel-making class, learning the secrets of this delicious Austrian treat. You’ll have some free time to explore, shop, or do as you please!  Ending the evening with a Mozart concert accompanied by dinner.

 

Sound of Music Tour Sing-A-Long

We’ll explore the charming streets of Salzburg on a guided tour. Later, we will visit the Sound of Music movie’s most famous spots, with a fun sing-along to the iconic songs! From Mirabell Gardens to charming villages, churches, and rolling hills, it’s all about memorable filming locations, laughter, and enjoying the magic of this beloved movie together!

 

Coach + Walking Tour

Thursday, September 17th

Hallstatt – We will wander the storybook village of Hallstatt, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, exploring its charming streets, lakeside views, and historic sights. You will have some free time to check out this amazing village. 

Vienna – By early afternoon, we’ll travel to Vienna to soak up the sights, sounds, and cozy café vibes of this beautiful city. Exploring Vienna’s Kunsthistorisches Museum, will be a fun-filled time with amazing art and treasures from centuries past while enjoying the beautiful galleries.

Friday, September 18th

Vienna – Step back in time at Schönbrunn Palace, exploring the opulent rooms and strolling through the stunning gardens. From grand architecture to beautiful treasures, it’s a chance to experience the elegance and history of Austria’s royal past. You’ll also have some free time to explore, shop, or do as you please!

 

We’ll wrap up our unforgettable adventure with a joyful farewell dinner, celebrating new friendships and the memories we’ve made together.

 

The price for our amazing tour is $3,975 per person

During our journey through Austria and Germany, we’ll stay in a few carefully selected hotels! Our adventure will take us to several destinations, with nights spent in one-, two-, and three-night stays along the way! Be prepared for lots of walking—up to 3 miles on some days, including a day with up to 10,000 steps—plus a fun, easy bike ride through a scenic park.

Inclusions:

• • All breakfasts are included at the hotels

• • Three dinners and one lunch are included.

• • 7-night hotel accommodations (shared room)

• • Most of our travel in Germany and Austria will be by private coach, with possibly a couple of trips taken by train.

• • Tickets/entrance fees are included for the sites and tours we’ll be visiting.
    
    
  • Our group will have a private guide for a couple of locations and experiences.

Not included:

• • Airfare is not included. You will fly out on Friday, September 11th, from your local international airport and arrive at Munich Airport on Saturday, September 12th. We will return home from the Vienna Airport (VIE), Saturday, September 19, 2026.

• • Most lunches and dinners are not included- see above for meals that are included.

• • Spending money

• • Travel insurance. All participants are required to have travel and medical insurance for this tour.

• • Any gratuities

• • Personal items – snacks, water, etc.

This set price for the tour is $3975. However, please note that occasionally taxes or transportation costs, such as transportation/ticket taxes, may increase slightly. Any adjustments would be minimal and will only occur if Germany/Austria raises these fees.

  • Fly into Munich Airport to start the adventure, and return home from Vienna Airport at the end of the tour.

Flight Information

As mentioned, airfare is not included. As we get closer, we will share information is to help you plan your flights. We will be departing the USA on Friday, Septh 11th. Please arrive at Munich Germany Airport (MUC) preferably by 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 12, 2026. There is a convenient airport train that can take you from the Munich Airport to our hotel.
