Add the shea butter and coconut oil to a heat safe bowl or measuring cup.
Heat in the microwave on high for 1 minute, then remove and stir well. If not fully melted, heat for an additional 30 seconds, then stir well again.
Transfer to a bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
After an hour, remove and beat on high for 5 minutes, stopping to scrape the sides every minute, until you have a light and fluffy cream.
Add mixture to a jar, and cover.
