The fabrics used in the bedding and curtains give this vintage room a modern flair.
Ginny says, “The bedding fabrics were chosen by me and sewn by a seller from Etsy. My mother made the curtains out of fabric I picked out from Hancock’s. I made the mobile from sticks, hemp string (which smelled REALLY funny…) and the free bird decals that came with the TREE decals on the walls! Those were a doozie…beautiful, but took 6.5 hours and 3 nights (and many arguments) to put up. We love them, though! Got those from Etsy as well. The JUDE letters I made from picture frames I painted brown, scrapbook paper, feathers, moss, and cardboard letters. And the amazing “J” over the changing table was painted by hand by my husband, the scientist, who apparently has some serious painting skills! ”
