Isn’t this Vintage Charm Shared Girls Room so sweet? Christen Byrd put together a room for her 2 girls using vintage pieces and colors that is absolutely charming. Christen says, ” I wanted it to fit their personalities and be pretty, but not pink or princessy.” She did a fabulous job! Since they rent their home, Christen had to work with the existing wall color and carpet which meant she had to bring color into the room in other ways. The main pop of color in this room comes from the tissue pom-poms in the ceiling which coordinate wonderfully with the yellow curtains, pale turquoise bed frames and pops of red throughout the room.
The lamp was a Goodwill find that Christen spray painted. She made the shade with fabric and a hot glue gun.
The sweet baby dolls in the room were also handmade by Christen and they are treasured by the girls.
I think the silhouettes of the girls are my favorite part of the wall decor.
A cute, little book nook! The yellow book case has a vintage sheet glued to the back as an accent.
