Designer Camille from The Vintique Object turned her client’s shared girls room from drab to fab! Using existing pieces and a little TLC, thrift store finds and a few DIY projects, Camille created a beautiful space complete with places for everything that little girls have – which we all know is a lot!
Camille found the vintage bed frames and painted them to match the ceiling and these existing IKEA dressers were given a fresh coat of paint and new drawer pulls. Camille made the huge bulletin board that hangs above each of the beds.
Along one wall Camille added a bookcase to store books and other necessities and then she created the desks herself and added the pegboards above the desk to give the girls a place to keep their jewelry.
Camille created some specific storage areas for Barbies and other toys in the room. The rod in the closet was lowered so that the girls could easily access their clothes.
You have to visit Camille’s post to see the before and after photos of the room along with details on how she did everything – it’s amazing! Thanks for letting us share, Camille!
