Sewing Anyone?

Sewing Anyone? Great ideas for a baby's room!Sewing Anyone? Sew and create many baby nursery items with this Shirley Botsford Designs pattern from Simplicity. Gotta love the fabric flowers that attach to the crib slats with velcro – great idea. Makes me wonder what else I could velcro to the crib slats – small plush animals, etc??? Make sure items you don’t want played with are out of reach of your baby. The classic bed skirt with box pleats gives this crib set timeless appeal. I also like the different solid color fabrics with the yellow stripe in the middle on the bed skirt. The focal point of this room is the drape hanging over the crib. Be concerned about safety for your baby – securely fasten the crib drape to the wall. Want to tackle this nursery project? You’ll need mid-level sewing skills or better yet call a friend who sews!

I used that pattern to make my grandbaby's crib dust ruffle. It turned out to be beautiful!
