Here is a unique way to decorate your pumpkins this year, Pumpkin Weaving! Simple DIY project for Fall! Only a few supplies, including pumpkin and some darling ribbon, are needed! Here is a secret, you don’t really weave it through the pumpkin. Here is how!
– Drill with a large bit
Measure your pumpkin and mark with a set of two dots. Each set should be roughly 3 inches apart. The two dots are only an inch apart. Drill each dot to make a hole. Cut ribbon slightly longer than a set of dots. Roll the ribbon and put into a hole securing with a pin. Sometimes I used two pins to make sure it is totally secure.
As you continue to work your way around the pumpkin it will appear that you are weaving through the pumpkin.
Then I added a bow and simply pinned it on the pumpkin where it looked good. I also decided to add an extra row of ribbon on the big pumpkin. Look how cute it is in my entry way! I love it! Now go make your own!
