Love the look of the Pottery Barn styled bedrooms but don’t love the price?? Well, Barb from The Everyday Home created a fabulous Pottery Barn inspired boys room and she did it all on a budget! I think it turned out fabulous & definitely looks like a room you’d see in the pages of the catalog!
She found a perfect sized desk at a thrift store & painted it to match the room decor. Then added a simple lamp & a bulletin board above to display her boys’ projects.
Color-coordinated buttons and ribbon were added to the plan white swinging arm lamps.
Barb found the cool “port hole” aquariums online and placed them on the wall above the very functional storage unit used to neatly store toys.
The no-sew padded headboards were a DIY project!
This red & white striped valance was made from a curtain found on clearance at Lowe’s! It’s a great little detail that really adds to the room.
Are you ready to tackle your own Pottery Barn inspired room now??
