How fun! My cute, darling friend Mindy Starr from Creative Juice is the creative genius behind this fabulous birthday party. Mindy says, “My little guy turned 2! I can’t even believe it. For his birthday we hosted a MAD SCIENTIST PARTY and I’m not going to lie – it was SO much fun!” From the energizing color scheme of lime and orange to the crazy costumes, this party looks like it was an absolute blast! No surprise from the girl of fun!!
Is this not the best mad scientist costume ever? Mindy dressed as a Mad Scientist to lead the minions, um, I mean SCIENTISTS through the experiments.
Mindy says, “Each kid had their own costume and it was so much fun”. It looks like a blast! Check out the smile on that little scientist in action! They made slime, elephant toothpaste and fizzing balloons.
Mindy incorporated the science theme throughout the food spread. See those cheese sticks at the back? They look like ordinary cheese sticks but in fact they are “DOUBLE HELIX” CHEESE (aka “twisted string cheese”). And those melon balls up front? “FRUIT MOLECULES” (honeydew & cantaloupe)
The cupcake toppers were created by super talented Lynlee from LYNLEE’S PETITE CAKES
Periodic table of the elements cake by TRAYLOR MADE TREATS
Orange Gatorade beaker cups
Have you guessed yet? Mindy used to be a science teacher! I bet her students absolutely loved coming to class! And I bet these little scientists are looking forward to science classes in the future. Thanks so much for sharing!!
Mindy is not only a party gal but is also a published author. Her new book is all about gourmet Macarons!! Look at the cute shapes and themes you can make. There is even a CD included in the book. Check the link below for more information!
