If I had to pick one word to describe this Baby Shower I would have a hard time deciding. Darling. Soft. Sweet. Lovely. Pink. Tasteful. Inviting. Vintage. This baby shower put together by Lemon Lima of Portugal was all of those things and more!
The gals at Lemon Lima held the shower in the nursery. They said, “Since the future princess’s room had enough space and was furnished with period furniture, we decided that would be the perfect place to make the baby shower”. The period furniture was the inspiration for the party. They enhanced the vintage feel by using lacy paper doilies, crocheted accents, and a palette of soft pastel colors. The end result was a tasteful, classic party that must have been absolutely lovely to attend.
Isn’t this a lovely nusery? It looks so peaceful and inviting…and LARGE! I can see how they were able to host a party in this room.
All of the tags and labels were given vintage-looking illustrations to match the period furniture. They remind me of flipping through the old reading “primers” from the 1950s.
Look how great the china teacups work as both part of the display and as serving bowls!
This time, the saucer is on the teacup to display those adorable, teeny-tiny packages with bows. Love it!
