Melody, from My Sweet and Saucy, helped put together this sophisticated and eye-popping Kids Ombre Surf Party for her friend Ashley from Ashley Rose Photography, who was the master mind behind her son’s first birthday party. Ombre is a great way to pick a color scheme for a party, because you can take a number of different colors from a certain color family and turn it into something great! The graduation of colors is easy to do and incorporate, but looks like you spent months trying to put together the perfect color scheme.
I love the blue hues that Ashley put together (doesn’t it remind you of waves at the beach?), and she added a pop of brown here and there as an accent color. The result was a fabulous party perfect for any beach-dweller.
How cute are these chocolate milk shots? Also, the kraft paper tablecloth with painted waves would be a great DIY project for your next party!
Melody not only designed and put together the dessert table, but she also made this funky and sweet birthday cake. What a clever idea to put goldfish at the top!
Awesome party, Melody!
