This nursery is a neutral safari adventure! Designers Sara Richardson and Tommy Smythe created a Contemporary Neutral Tribal Themed Nursery using subtle cream zebra-stripe wallpaper topped by a nature-inspired wallpaper that resembles woven river grasses. Their theory is to “install a plate rail (approximately 1/3 down from the ceiling) to visually break up the wall. This allows for not one, but two fabulous wallpapers for mega impact.” Having the clean, white line between the wallpapers also enhances the contemporary feel of the room. What really makes the neutral colors pop in this room is the fabulous kelly green accents that were made using Sarah Richardson Paint (Lowe’s) Spring.
There are a lot of amazing accents in this room that enhance the subtle safari theme. I love the mirror that almost has a giraffe motif and the rustic light fixture hanging from the ceiling. The kelly green pops up throughout the room on the changing area, the accent table and even the shelves on the bookcase.
How fun is this closet? So neat and organized! I especially love the green wall. Such a great detail that totally changes the room!
