Hello Design Dazzle Fans! Sherri, Deb and I are so excited to be participating again in this year’s Design Dazzle Summer Camp!
We are three sisters from three states who keep our families close by testing one pin at a time at MadeFromPinterest.net. We love that we can work together even though we live far apart. Besides blogging and Pinterest we love spending time together as a family whenever possible. Between the three of us we have 10 children, 3 grandchildren and the fourth grandchild is due any time!
Today I am going to share with you what we happen to think is one of the most hilarious twister summer boredom busters ever! A bumped up colored shaving cream game of Twister! Even better it will take little time or no effort on your part to set it up and get the fun started.
Lay your twister game somewhere outside, on grass is preferable.
Here is where the party starts to get really funny! You will need about 3 cans of shaving cream and some food coloring. Mix a bowl of green, blue, red and yellow food coloring with the shaving cream.
Place a big blob of blue shaving cream on each of the blue circles, a big blob of green shaving cream on each green circle, continue doing this until every circle on your twister game has a matching blob of colored shaving cream on it.
Get your players in position and let the games begin!
Warning! This is going to make a big mess but your kids are going to love every minute of it. Clean up? When the final winner was determined and the games were over I thoroughly enjoyed hosing my kids off. It took just a few minutes to hose down the Twister game mat and my grass and all the cleaning was done. (Make sure your players wear old clothes because the colored shaving cream is hard to get out. Sometimes it will stain clothing depending on the fabric.)
Make sure to take video’s and/or pictures like these to document your summer fun!
With faces like these I have to say…..
This Twister Boredom Buster Totally Rocks!
Such a fun idea, Tracy! Thanks for sharing! You can find more fun ideas in the rest of the Summer Camp Series.
