I combined lots of new with lots of vintage. I did sew many of the pillows and window treatments myself. I made the paper doll art with vintage girl dolls. The pink beside table is an old sewing stand painted pink, and the white night stand was an old commode. The chandelier was originally brass and I added crystals and a beaded chain. The lampshades were made with leftover fabric. The silk plaid was a pottery barn selection and I purchased a few of the duvets to have extra fabric. The coverlet is matelasse, and the toile is called "Central Park". The paper dolls are: "Watch Me Grow" by Louise Rumley, 1944 available at the Paper Doll Review.
The wall color is an adjusted mix from Benjamin Moore. It is the color Whispering Spring (2136-70) at 125%. It is a cross between blue and tiffany box blue. Whispering Spring is the lightest color on the color strip. I always choose the lightest option, as combined with white woodwork, it has a nice subtle impact".
