Designer of the Month September 2008  Partridge in a Pear Tree Kristin DeMarco This nursery was designed for the annual Christmas Show house in Crownsville, MD. This room suits a baby boy or girl and is perfect for all seasons! The inspiration for the nursery was the "Wren" bedding by Serena & Lily. The beautiful colors and intricate patterns are carried on throughout the room. The walls are done in a denim finish with hand painted stitching along the "seams". The base coat for the wall is bluebell, the glaze coat is Upward and the ceiling paint is Midday, all by Sherman Williams. The espresso sleigh crib and dresser by Bratt Decor are detailed with intricate carvings and provide a safe sleeping environment as well as plenty of storage for baby's clothing. The custom window treatments and bolster pillow was created by Windo Vango. of Eillicott City, MD. All accessories and furnishings were provided by Lil' Lamp Shop of Annapolis, MD. www.lillambshop.com The faux finish was crafted by Daniel McIntyre of Designs by Daniel - 412.680.4962. Kristin DeMarco graduated from Penn State University in 96' with a degree in Advertising. In 2002, after the birth of her first child, she went back to school for Interior Design. Kristin chose to specialize in designing children's spaces and she currently works with a local children's boutique in Annapolis, MD.
