Natalie from One Pork Chop posted the steps on her blog on how to create an orange and turquoise baby nursery as fresh and unique as this one. Natalie designed this room for her baby boy and found ways to bring bright colors together for a room in perfect harmony.
She painted one wall with stripes using paint by Valspar. Brown paint color: PARK FOUNTAIN (Valspar, Lowes)
White paint color: WEDDING BELLS (Valspar, Lowes). The remaining walls were painted solid with the brown color. The brown crib and bedding work well with the turquoise storage box and picture frame.
The owl changing pad cover has all the right colors what a great find.
The alphabet on the wall highlights the baby’s initial with a frame around the J.
Chevron is such a fun decor pattern. The way it is hung with the chevron vertical adds another focal point to the room.
The color of this changing table is so bright and look at how fun that pull down door is.
These pillows are another great way to highlight your baby boys name.
The rocking chair has those pillows on them as well as another owl decoration to tie in with the changing pad. Notice the circle mat in orange at the foot of the rocking chair. She really thought of every detail. I also love the knitted blanket in the chevron, so comfy.
The ceiling decor is made out of paper lanterns that match the colors of the room so well. Natalie provides all the details for this room on her blog One Pork Chop as well as where she found her inspiration. And to top it all off she tells you where she bought everything as well so you can design a room much like this one.
