Random Acts of Kindness: Easy Flower Card

It’s Random Acts of Kindness week and today I’m doing some RAOK!! First up I’m sharing a very simple card to make for a random act of kindness. Michaels gave me 5 gift cards ($5 each) to share with others. I placed a gift card inside the flower card and also wrote a simple sentiment.  I will leave a card on four friends doorstep (anonymously). The other gift card is for the first person to leave a comment on this post. I’m also donating a $5 gift card to the first commenter. So $10 in Michaels gift cards just for being the first to leave a comment. Make sure I can get a hold of you through email : )

Michaels Craft Stores sells a lot of fabulous items – including the already cut out flower cardstock. The package of die cut flowers comes in an assortment of colors and is made by Recollections ($2.99 for a package of 48).

The bottom image shows the gift card taped with Washi tape or paper tape. This becomes the inside of the card (back). I used two flower cardstock – one for the front and one for the back.

Print out the free printable (shared below) and cut out the circle and glue onto the flower. Place two flower cardstock on top of each other. One is the front of the card and the other is the back. Hole punch two holes in the side of the card and thread ribbon through. Tie the ribbon into a bow and voila a VERY simple card. Get your kids involved to make these cute cards for others.

Open up the flower card to find a lovely thought written or a gift card or ??
