Colorful Barbie Nursery
I’m going to call this a Va-va-va-voom nursery! Wow! Shay from Designer Detective put together this fabulous nursery for her daughter, Brooklyn. This colorful Barbie nursery features vibrant colors, zebra print, and the fun Barbie motif. She even added color to the ceiling! Shay says, ”I had aqua stripes painted on the ceiling because I wanted to add a fabulous ceiling treatment for Brooklyn to gaze at while she laid in her crib.” She softened the bold colors and patterns a bit by setting the crib, the custom Brooklyn art and the chair at an angle.
A twin bed for those nights when baby just won’t settle down to sleep…or when big sister wants a sibling sleep-over.
That’s no ordinary sunburst mirror! Shay glued a collection of 50th anniversary Barbies on it.
The chair is upholstered in vibrant indoor/outdoor fabrics for easier cleaning and durability.
I love how the basket liners match the room colors. Perfect storage for diapers, onsies and more!
