Charming Modern Baby Nursery

modern baby girl nursery

Bethany DeWood created this charming, modern baby nursery for her daughter, Mila. I am a huge fan of pairing a soothing neutral color with a really vibrant accent color. There are so many things that I love about this room! It has such a big personality for such a small space. Bethany says, when designing a room, “use your imagination and if you pick things you love you will never go wrong!”

The base color for this room is Behr interior flat in Serengeti Dust and the stripes are Behr high gloss in Compass.

 Creative Nursery Wall Art

The focal point of the room is the wonderfully creative name art above the crib. Bethany made the “M” above the crib by purchasing a paper mache initial letter from a craft store then hot gluing flowers to the front of it. The sides of the paper mache letter are covered with pink ribbon.

phetsadavone is Mila’s middle name. :)

“ILA”- font is Passions Conflict, size is  18″, in the color Black. “phetsadavone” font is Whackadoo, size is 8″, in the color Pink.

I am not a fan of any shade of Pink, but the design of this room has inspired me for my new little girl’s room. I love the punches of Hot Pink throughout the room; its just enough and the colors allow for easy transition as she gets older.
