Christmas Wonderful: Paper Tree Ornaments
Hi Design Dazzle Readers, I`m Sarah from Alderberry Hill!
I am so thrilled to be visiting with all of you today, a {BIG} thank you to Toni for having me!
Today I am sharing with you a super quick and easy ornament that my Daughter made for our tree, actually she made 4 of these!!
They are unbelievably fast to make but are absolutely beautiful!
Here are the supplies that you need.
Clear ornament bulbs (shatterproof)
Scrapbook paper
Ribbon
Paper cutter (optional) or scissors
Pencil
We started with 2 patterned sheets of scrapbook paper and I cut them into 1×6” strips. You can use scissors of course if you do not have a paper cutter, the kids can join in the fun by using their kid safe scissors!
My daughter rolled each strip one by one around a pencil. You’ll need to roll them nice & tight so they will stayed rolled after you let go. Then drop them inside the ornament, alternating patterns. We continued with this until the ornament was full.
We used pretty ric rac for the hanger and then tied a beautiful bow made from red tulle.
They are so pretty on the tree.
Try using fun colors and patterns like neon & polka dots for a kids Christmas tree!
Come by Alderberry Hill to see my other Christmas crafts like
These ornaments are kid friendly too!
And pop by on Mondays for my link party

I have never seen shatterproof clear ornaments, except the ones that are plastic and come in two halves, which you snap together. Is that what you used? I love, love, love this idea! And I need something QUICK right now!
